000-40Q2GN-Another Martin with too many letters. To cut to the chase, this is a 000 14 fret in Quilted Mahogany that is signed by CFM and Graham Nash. It is a nice guitar that is made better by the woods, not the best or the fanciest but very nice....typical Martin. This is # 120 of 147. It has a Fishman Gold Plus with no onboard controls. In a Geib case, in very nice condition, it is $2995.

BATSON Grand Concert Cutaway-I Look forward to every guitar that arrives in our shop...you know what I mean...that anticipation, that longing for that new guitar smell, tuning it up the first time, what a feeling. Well let me tell you that this Batson is a beauty(SOLD)


The back of our newest Batson has taken shape. Pretty nice isn't it? Watch this space for the final result....it will be a beauty! The guitar is going into finish...should be completed soon. By the way, the back and side wood is Hormigo and the top is bearclaw Adirondack.


Breedlove Guitar Company

C25/SMe-12-Oregon built 12 string in Mahogany and Sitka Spruce with a soft cutaway, and Baggs pickup installed. This is a GREAT sounding 12 string at a great price. List is $1999.

Quartz FF Mandolin-All solid Maple and Spruce with Sunburst finish and case.  Really sweet! List is $2199.

000R-This is one great guitar for the price. A 000 sized 12 fret with a slotted headstock and Grover tuners. Lovely Indian Rosewood with a Sitka top and all done in a satin finish. List price is $2939.

SD20-This used Drednaught is Mahogany and Spruce. Excellent condition and on consignment at $1695.

Atlas Series-These guitars are made in Korea in the image and likeness of American Breedloves. With solid tops, Grover tuners and the Breedlove truss system included these are an incredible value for the money. We try have Drednaughts and Concert sizes with and without pickups and cutaways. Call if you're looking for a specific model.



PATRICK JAMES EGGLE

Etowah-This 000 12 fret is a beauty. Outrageous Ziricote back and sides(looks and sounds like Brazililian Rosewood) coupled with a Sitka top. All Koa binding, Abalone rosette and backstrip, slotted headstock with Waverly's capped with Ebony buttons and lovely double red purfling lines on the Ebony fingerboard. Sounds great and plays like a dream. List is $6382.

Linville OM-A soft cutaway model in Rosewood and Sitka with all Koa bindings, Ab rosette, chrome Waverly's. Easy to play and big in sound. List $3955



JAMES GOODALL GUITARS

James has moved back to Ft. Bragg, CA where he and his son Luke will continue to build Goodall guitars. No one has told me, but since this will be only a 2 man shop, I predict we will see some considerable price increases. Now may be the best time for a new Goodall!

Parlour-This used14 fret Parlour is a beauty. It is Brazilian Rosewood and Engleman Spruce. It is loud, it is clear, it is really a joy to play and it is in excellent condition. It also has several bonuses.....it comes in a custom Calton case and......it is a real buy. It is on consignment at $4995, that's for a Goodall with Brazilian folks. With Goodall's current list price of over $11,000 and a wait of 18 months, this guitar will make you happy NOW!!

TR000-12-Indian Rosewood and Adirondack. Very nice condition used guitar and an excellent value at $3495.

Grand Concert- On order is a Rosewood and Spruce Grand Concert. Now only building 2 guitars per week, this is due September 2011!!

TC000C-Bet you can't figure that one out....it is a Traditional 000 in Cocobolo with an un-traditional cutaway. This Goodall is used but is in pristine condition. The Cocobolo is beautiful and it is topped with Bearclaw Sitka. The headstock is standard with chrome Waverlys and Ebony buttons. The case is a black Calton.which completes a great package. The price is right on this consignment guitar, $4995.


JEAN LARRIVEE GUITARS

PV09SBE-Once again we offer a Larrivee Parlour cutaway in Rosewood and Spruce that also has a cutaway, a Sunburst finish and electronics offered at the bestest price ever, $1395!!

OM09BZ-This is an OM built of really fine Brazilian Rosewood, not stumpwood but old growth stuff. Has some light figuring that looks super!! With a Sitka top, chrome Shallers with ivoroid buttons and all Maple body binding it is not a surprise that it has a list of $7988. The surprise is our selling price. OM-Special California-This unique used guitar was built to celebrate Jean's move to California. OM size, Rosewood back and sides, Sitka top, blue rosettee binding and blue purfling on edges, Rosewood body binding and an Abalone and wood palm tree inlay in the headstock. Great condition and great sound and playability. $1495(SOLD).

D09W-A used Walnut and Cedar drednaught made in Victoria BC in the last century. Very good overall condition and offered at $1395

OM09KK-All Koa guitar in very good condition. The Koa is quite stunning and the guitar plays like a dream. A very reasonable $1895 will make it yours.

P09BZ-This little beauty has all the features of a standard Parlour 9 series with the upgrade to Brazilian Rosewood. A stunning instrument with a list of $4010.

LV05E-Mahogany and Sitka with a soft cutaway and Baggs I-Mix. As always a great playing and sounding instrument at a reasonable price. List $3173.

LS30-Rosewood and Spruce classical guitar. Unique to this guitar is an un-traditional Abalone rosette, very, very nice. List $2995

JCL-Jean Larrivee is celebrating 40 years of building fine guitars with this meld of old and new. This L bodied guitar is made of the highest grade Indian Rosewood and Spruce. Features include: Marquetry rosette as used in the '70's, pearl JCL headstock inlay, old style Alan Magee Label, Rosewood body bindings with holly purflings, Schaller M6 tuners, black Alligator style case, clear pickguard and more. Since this guitar celebrates 40 years of building, we special ordered #40 of the series to make this guitar even more special. List is $4000

OM05-Basic Mahogany and Spruce turned elegant by the Larrivee builders. A great guitar and a great value. List $2527.

L10PB-This is #11 of a series of 30. Back and sides are a lustrous Pomelle Bubinga from Africa. Nice reds and browns with distinctive pomelle figuring. The top is AAA Sitka and is surrounded by Abalone. Typical of the "10" series there are wings inlaid in the fretboard and bridge. Both the inside label and certificate of authenticity are hand signed by Jean Larrivee. Sounds and plays great. List is $3498

SD60-This is Jean's version of the traditional 12 fret slope D, only better than the original. Rosewood and Mastergrade Sitka, slothead with chrome tuners and Ebonized buttons, tortoise style pickguard, traditional volute on the back of the headstock and of course, a marvelous sound. List $4137.70.




GEORGE LOWDEN

S32- This small body Lowden is a treasure. The Indian Rosewood is stunning with deep rich hues and the Sitka top is creamy...George sure builds great guitars. Small body, big sound, stop by and check it out. List is $4590

F23C-Used Highly figured Walnut and Cedar with cutaway. Has a couple of small dings on the top but with the installed Baggs I-Beam, this is a great guitar at a great price...$2995

F25-This guitar is about 10 years old. It is in wonderful condition and sounds and plays great. Rosewood back and sides with a Cedar top and Sycamore bindings. An Abalone rosette adorns the soundhole and it is very colorful. A Fishman split Matrix pickup sounds great. The Rosewood on the back has some lovely red hues that ad to the overall character of a really fine instrument. On consignment, offered at $2995.




DANA BOURGEOIS

"Piccolo" Parlour-This is #2 of 15 in this 2010 Limited Edition and it's a beauty. Granted, it is small, petite and even tiny....but it is loud, loud, loud. It is packed with special features and will be a great addition to your collection or a great one and only. It features world class Mahogany back and sides, an Adirondack "Red" Spruce top, Ziricote body binding and headstock overlay, parlour pyramid bridge, Nickel Waverly's with Ebony buttons, half Herringbone top border, Fossil Ivory pins and more. This is another fine example of crafsmanship and artistry from Dana Bourgeois. List is $4695(SOLD).


OMSS-Well this is one nice OM. Builit with a 24.9 scale, this guitar features Marbled Rosewood and Adirondack. We added an abalone rosette and swapped out the ivoroid binding for tortoise. This is a gem with a list of $4050.




DAVID WEBBER

Selmer/Macaferri style- Used but looks new in Walnut and Spruce. Includes a K & K pickup. A real buy at $1595.

1000 Series- This is one of several guitars David built to commemorate the milestone of building 1000 guitars...so it is unique and one of a kind. It is actually #1001 and includes a letter of Provenance with a description by David(David is keeping #1000). The back and sides of this Round Body are exceptional Ziricote while the top is bearclaw Engleman. It has full Abalone top purfling and rosette, a lovely soft cutaway and all Snakewood body binding including the fretboard and headstock. A special guitar from a special builder. List is $4900.

00-This is a Rosewood/ Spruce gem! 14 frets clear, soft cutaway, slotted headstock, short 24.9 scale and beautiful Koa binding. Great, great guitar. List is $3400

Classic-A used classical guitar from David Webber. Indian Roswood and Spruce with an Abalone rosette and Abalone fingerboard inlay. Quite tidy and offered at $1495(SOLD).

Traditional Bouzuki-We have had several of these from David over the years. This one is Fiddleback Maple with a Spruce top. Very, very nice. List is $1600

Round Body Cutaway-Another stunning example of the Luthier's art, this new Round Body cutaway is a beauty. The back and sides are lovely Quilted Waterfall Mahogany, the top is Spruce and the body and fretboard are bound in Cocobolo. The rosette is a simple Cocobolo ring. This guitar is loud and yet very clear. David Webber continues to build a fine guitar at a very reasonable price. List is $4100.

Selmer/Macaferri-This is David's take on the old Selmer style guitar. Extremely thin and vibrant Spruce top and Rosewood back and sides. Rich and full sound. David's guitars just keep getting better List is $3100.



ANDREW WHITE

The new White basic list price is now $6900!!

E-Labeled C246, this is really an "E" size. I think this is our first used White, and it's a beauty. Mahogany back and sides bound in Maple, stunning Redwood top, pyramid bridge, K&K Dual source pickup and a 7 piece multi-lam neck. Excellent condition and it sounds and plays great. Proudly offered at $3195(2010 List price is $7650)

E Cutaway-Our first White cutaway. Indian Rosewood and German Spruce. Also features laminated neck, Brazilian Rosewood body binding and black Gotohs with black buttons. List is $4895(2010 List price is $8000).


McPHERSON GUITARS

MG4.5-Awesome Macassar(Striped) Ebony topped with a Redwood top that matches the light browns in the sides and back. This was not an easy task and I'm sure it took the craftsmen at McPherson a good deal of time to accomplish this match. Another nice touch is the striped Ebony headstock overlay...very nice. Here they have put together a visually stunning guitar that is also sonically stunning. Offered at $5950.

MG4.5XP-The back and sides are Flamed Black Acacia, a look alike cousin to Koa but from down under. The top is a perfect Adirondack Spruce that is longing to be played. The Baggs RTSII is installed and ready to go, the built in humidification system in the Ameritage case is ready to add moisture in the upcoming winter months. The extra saddles are in the case pocket to give the perfect action...all this guitar needs is YOU! Stop by with your $6450 and take it to a good home.



ASSORTED

Jim Worland- Here is a fine used Parlour in Figured Walnut with a Cedar top. Although used it is in very good condition. A full rich sound for a Parlour, the slothead with Waverly's, the 12 frets clear and the wonderful Maple bindings and red purfling will bring a smile to your face, put a song in your heart, but will not put a dent in your  billfold with a reasonable and fair price of $1995.

Apararicio AA70-Solid Rosewood and Cedar. This is a guitar that we sold originally. Now on consignment and in like new condition, this is a great buy at $895. Sounds and plays great, with a custom fiberglass case.

We recently got a visit from a newer small builder, William Kraus from Middleport, NY. He stopped by with some examples of his work....and we were impressed. Excellent craftsmanship, excellent tone, Bill knows what he is doing. Visit his website at www.krausguitars.com and see what he has to offer. BLACKBIRD Composite Guitars-Designed and produced in San Francisco, these are VERY cool guitars. With the soundport placement in the bass side of the top, this is very much a player's guitar...you hear more of what you are playing. Unique in every aspect...

Super OM-This is a carbon fiber OM sized guitar with Fishman Infinity pickup installed. List is $2699

Rider- This little gem is a carbon fiber small body guitar that is a great travel guitar. List is $1995(SOLD).

COLE CLARK-Instruments built in Australia from Australian woods like Bunya(their version of Spruce), Queensland Maple and Blackwood(similar to Koa). Unique bracing and electronic placement give you more choices than ever. These are LOUD guitars.

FL2AC-This Fat Lady has more appointments than a 1 and also has a face blend pickup and cutaway with a  Bunya top and Blackwood back and sides CC case is included in the $2310 list price.

AN2AC-Lovely Concert Cutaway in Indian Rosewood and Bunya with CC faceplate pickup. Plays and sounds awesome. List $3250

The Ukelele market is growing faster than any other segment of stringed instruments. If you have the bug or are just looking for a unique ukelele, here it is. This is a Harmony "Johnny Marvin Professional Ukelele". Vintage is about 1930 making it 80 years old. It is in excellent "like new" condition and housed in an arched top hard case. It has solid Koa top, back and sides with a brown stain that lets the Quilt of the Koa come thru. That Airplane bridge is also pretty cool. This beauty can be yours for $695.

Michael Collins Concert-Argyle NY should be known for it's socks, but it's not. Instead it is the home of luthier Michael Collins. Famous for his classical guitars, he also builds a tidy steel string. This concert sized instrument was commissioned in 2001 and completed in 2002. The body is very nice Koa, the top is Cedar and it has an I-Beam active installed. It is 12 frets clear of the body, 25.5 scale, 1 3/4 nut and appears to have Rosewood body bindings. It had an original cost of $4800 and is on consignment at $2995. A very nice guitar at a very nice price.

Voyage-Air-Well this one is unique...it folds up for traveling, unfolds for playing. Includes a clever case and an extra storage bag for your laptop. But wait...there's more...it actually sounds and plays like a very good guitar!! List is $749.

Lakewood M32C-This is a used concert size cutaway in Indian Rosewood and Spruce. Terrific sound and playability with Bagg's pickup installed. Very good condition and yours for $1995 with original Hiscox case.

Stonebridge guitars are built in the Czech Republic by Frantisek Furch. New to North America, but they have a history going back to 1981. They are quite Frantastik.

23SRG Custom-Lovely Rosewood and Spruce in a Grand Concert size. Since we love to make changes, we added a soft cutaway and topped it off with a slotted headstock. This is a special guitar. List $3604.

23SFG-C-This Grand Concert has lovely Maple back & sides with a Spruce top. Tortoise binding, Abalone rosette and a soft cutaway are included and all at a list of $3124.

Molter 000-Built in Jacksonville, Florida by Danny Molter. This instrument is all Koa, top back and sides. All nicely bound in figured Maple and features a full Abalone top and back borders. Koa underlay on headstock and a lovely multi-lam neck. All of these are nice touches but the guitar also sounds and plays great. On consignment and reduced to $2395.

Taylor 514CE-Built in 2001, this guitar features a Mahogany body and a Cedar top along with a Fishman blender system and of course a soft cutaway. Looks almost new and is on consignment at $1595.

The new I-Mix, Element, I-Beam and M-1 pickups from L R Baggs are here along with the new active infinity from Fishman and we have just received several mini loudboxes with 60 watts of great sound. We always try to have several Amps in stock from Ultrasound...true acoustic reproduction.
